Interdisciplinary and Flexible Exploration
The university’s 112th-116th Academic Year Development Plan 1-3-1 ‘Interdisciplinary Learning and Diverse Specializations’ and the Second Phase of the Higher Education Sprout Project 1-1-3 ‘Interdisciplinary and Flexible Exploration’ have planned a flexible academic system and interdisciplinary learning.
1.Under the existing minor and double major system, each department designs minor and second major courses.
2.Starting from the 112th academic year, within the 128 graduation credits, students can choose courses from other departments to become a minor. Starting from the 114th academic year, students can complete a second major or a second minor with up to 10 additional credits beyond the 128 credits.

Brief Description of Minor Design
The minor program in the Department of Chemistry is centered around biochemistry and materials chemistry. It focuses on specialized courses such as organic chemistry, instrumental analysis, and materials chemistry, supplemented by practical courses like research projects and corporate internships. The program aims to align students’ expertise with popular fields such as optoelectronics and biomedical materials, providing a rich and diverse interdisciplinary learning environment.
